Folly Road traffic reopens following early morning flooding

CHARLESTON, SC (WCIV) -- Heavy flooding forced crews to shutdown all four lanes of Folly Road at Camp Road on James Island early Thursday morning.

The flooding situation worsened throughout the Lowcountry with heavy rain lasting for hours.

Officials reopened lanes of Folly Road just after 6:00a.m. Traffic is still flowing slowly through the area.
