Receiver Justin Blackmon, picked fifth overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in April's draft, was arrested for aggravated DUI early Sunday in Stillwater, Okla.
The 22-year-old Blackmon was arrested by Stillwater police at 3 a.m. local time and later booked into the Payne County Jail on $1,000 bond, Payne County Sheriff Sgt. Brandon Ingham said.
Blackmon remained in custody Sunday afternoon as officials awaited paperwork for his release.A Monday arraignment was scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET.
Under Oklahoma law, a driver's blood alcohol level must be .15 or higher to be charged with aggravated DUI.Jaguars spokesman Dan Edwards says the team is aware of the report and is gathering information.
The Tulsa World previously reported Blackmon's Sunday arrest. It was the second DUI arrest for the former Oklahoma State star, who also was arrested in 2010 in Texas on a misdemeanor DUI charge. He was suspended one game by Oklahoma State as a result of that arrest.
The Jaguars traded up two spots to take the 6-foot-1, 207 pound Blackmon with the No. 5 pick in the 2012 draft, hoping to add a franchise receiver to an offense that ranked last in the league in 2011.
Blackmon caught 122 passes for 1,522 yards and 18 touchdowns for Oklahoma State last season. He had 111 receptions for 1,782 yards and 20 scores the previous year.
