CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- If you are a student at College of Charleston you should probably read this...
The Board of Trustrees' finance committee unanimously voted in favor of a 3.15 percent increase for next year. The board still has to make a final vote on the tuition increase. That vote is scheduled for June 11. If passed, it would mean tuition would be increased by about $300 next year.
Under the proposal, out-of-state tuition would be increased by 4 percent -- about a $1,000 jump.
