ReVille expected in court today

Updated:

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Former Lowcountry coach Louis "Skip" ReVille is due in court today.

ReVille is accused of molesting more than 20 boys over the course of the last decade.

Those close to the case say he is expected to plead guilty.

The court appearance will be the only time ReVille has left the jail, with exception to a handful of visits to a forensic psychiatrist. Every other week in March he visited a doctor known for work with sex offenders.

The visits were ordered by ReVille's attorney, Craig Jones.

Since the investigation remains ongoing, parties involved with the ReVille case are saying very little, as to not jeopardize the case.

ReVille began working as a teacher or coach in 2002 at several schools around the Lowcountry. He taught at Pinewood Preparatory School in Summerville between 2002-2006. He volunteered, assisting a teacher for intramural basketball at Rollings Middle School in Summerville; coached tennis at Bishop England High School between 2008-2010; coached basketball for Mount Pleasant Recreation Department at Moultrie Middle School and most recently taught at Coastal Christian Preparatory School in Mount Pleasant from 2010-2011.

ReVille worked as a mentor at The Citadel while he was a cadet and also helped with the school's summer camp. Attorneys have argued had the school acted on complaints about ReVille's behavior, much of what happened would have been prevented.
