ReVille begins 50 year sentence with evaluations

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV)-- Louis "Skip" ReVille is now officially an inmate with the South Carolina Department of Corrections.

ReVille pleaded guilty to 22 indictments from Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties for sex crimes with young boys.

He is currently housed at the Kirkland Reception and Evaluation Center in Columbia which is the first stop for any new male inmate of the SCDC.

He will be there for at least 30 days, undergoing medical and psychological evaluations.

These evaluations will determine which SCDC facility will be best suited for ReVille's long-term detention.

ReVille was sentenced to 50 years in prison for his crimes and will do 85 percent before being eligible for release. By that time, he will be 74-years-old. If he is ever released, he will serve seven years under supervision.
