Drillers Rained Out In San Antonio

Posted: Updated:

The Tulsa Drillers series finale in San Antonio was rained out Sunday night. After a two hour wait for rain showers in the San Antonio area to clear, the game was officially postponed.

Because it was to be Tulsa's final game in San Antonio this season, the game will have to be made up in Tulsa when the Missions visit later this week. It will likely be played as part of a doubleheader on Thursday at ONEOK field, but a finalized date and time will be announced on Monday.

The Drillers now travel to Corpus Christi and will begin a three-game series with the Hooks Monday evening. Cory Riordan, who was scheduled to pitch the finale against Missions, will now pitch the opener in Corpus Christi. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05PM at Whataburger Field.
