NFL creating ways to fill stadiums

Posted: Updated:

From ABC News:

The NFL is looking for innovative ways to get more people off of the couch and into the stands at its stadiums.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the organization is planning to offer free WiFi in stadiums across the league. They also plan to come up with new smartphone apps that will allow fans to be able to listen to players on the field that would be wearing microphones.

The NFL has expressed concern that fans having access to watch the games both on TV and on their phones have caused more to stay home instead of buying tickets.
