Drillers Drop Finale vs. Missions

Posted: Updated:

The Tulsa Drillers could not complete the four-game sweep of San Antonio Saturday night, as they fall to the Missions 7-0.

Things got out of hand early, as San Antonio raced out to a 5-0 lead after just four innings.  That was more than enough run support for Missions starter Donn Roach, who threw five innings of shut-out baseball.

Tulsa managed just three hits for the entire game: two from left fielder Corey Dickerson, and one from second baseman Angelys Nina.

The Drillers stay at home for its next series, a three game set with Corpus Christi.  That series begins on Sunday, with first pitch from ONEOK Field set for 7:05 PM.
