Drink, pray, tweet - but not in that order

Posted: Updated:

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV)-- When it comes to trends on Twitter, more Americans tweet about "church" than "beer" according to a study by the website FloatingSheep.org.

According to CNN, researchers combed through about 10 million tweets from American twitter users over one week last month.

There were slightly more "church" tweets than "beer" tweets nationwide, with the biggest numbers here in the southeast.

CNN says Twitter users in the Northeast tweeted mostly about beer with the leaders in San Francisco and Boston.

Dallas tweeted the most about church.
