The Charleston Bridal Show gave vendors a chance to pitch their services to brides. (WCIV)CHARLESTON, S.C (WCIV) -- For brides to be, The Charleston Bridal Show Sunday afternoon was a place to take some of the wedding-planning stress away.
The show started and produced by Kathy Baxley-Stewart brought vendors from all over Charleston to the downtown Marriott for a "wedding mall" of sorts.
"Its pretty much a one-stop shop," said Kathy Baxley-Stewart. "Otherwise girls are traveling all over the city making multiple interviews with different venues, caterers, photographers. This way they get to talk to them basically all at one time. They're all under one roof."
The show is held twice a year in January and July.
"Today the brides are coming in droves. Charleston continues to be one of the most popular wedding destination cities in the world actually," said Baxley-Stewart. "So every time we have a bridal show, we have a great turnout."
