The World Airline Awards announces winners

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - The World Airline Awards has announced several 'Best of' honors.

Virgin America won 2012 best domestic airline and the best low-cost airline in North America awards.

The best airline in the world goes to Qatar airways.

The awards are given based on a Skytrax survey of over 18 million airline customers.
