Man accused of writing bad check for $225,000

BERKELEY, S.C. (WCIV)-- A Lowcountry man was charged with writing a bad check worth a quarter of a million dollars.

Chris Felber, 23, went through bond court in Berkeley County Monday night.

Police say on June 9, Felber wrote a check to another man for $225,000.  The check was deposited, returned for insufficient funds and never paid back.

Felber's bond was set for $225,000.
