– The South Carolina Stingrays announced today that the organization
has reached an affiliation agreement with the National Hockey League's Boston
Bruins for the 2012-13 season.
"We are very pleased to be affiliated with such a quality organization that has a first class reputation," said Stingrays Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Spencer Carbery. "We look forward to working with the Bruins organization while doing everything we can to help their prospects develop in South Carolina."
The Bruins are the fifth NHL affiliate in Stingrays history.

Opening Night for the Stingrays' 20th anniversary season is Saturday, October 13 against the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum!
