BEAUFORT, S.C. (AP) -- A United Parcel Service driver revived a driver and rescued five kids from the wreckage of a car in Beaufort County.
The Beaufort Gazette reports that the accident happened late Wednesday near the Harbor Island causeway.
Authorities say the car was partially submerged when the UPS truck came by the scene. The 44-year-old driver, Eric Logan, helped get the five children out. He then retrieved the driver and performed CPR.
The family members were visiting from out of state and were taken to a hospital and treated and released. Their names were not released.
