CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) – Author Katie Crouch was born and raised in Charleston. Appearing on Lowcountry Live, Crouch showcased her fourth novel, "The White Glove War." The book is a follow-up to her "Magnolia League" and the second in her young adult series.
When 16-year-old Alexandria Lee's mother dies in a tragic accident, she is forced to leave the West Coast home and move in with a wealthy grandmother in Savannah. Her grandmother is a member of the Magnolia League which is Savannah's long-standing debutante society. Alex questions the Magnolia League's intentions, yet becomes entangled in the society's world.
Crouch is also the author of the New York Times bestselling novel "Girls in Trucks," "Men and Dogs" and "The Magnolia League."
She lives in San Francisco with her family.
