KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) - Storms rolling through Kiawah this morning temporarily kept golfers and fans off Ocean Course.
Several lightning strikes were in the area around 9 a.m. forcing fans off course grounds.
According to course officials it is their policy to keep people away from open areas during these types of weather threats.
Weather continues to be a concern for the week at Kiawah. There is a chance of storms everyday through the weekend.
