Goose Creek goes green with curbside recycling

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV) -- The City of Goose Creek has announced that Berkeley County Water and Sanitation will offer subscription based curbside recycling services to Goose Creek residents.

According to a city spokesperson, subscription based weekly curbside recycling services will cost residents $7.50 per quarter and those who sign up will get the service each Wednesday.

Plastics 1 through 7 are accepted and glass, aluminum, steal cans, and paper can all go in the recycling container.

As for the containers, you can use your own for free or pay a one-time $10 fee to Republic Services for a container.
