Van body maker brings 119 jobs to Charleston area

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- A company that makes van bodies will open a new plant in Charleston County, investing $1 million and creating 119 jobs.

The state Department of Commerce announced Wednesday that Morgan Olson LLC is expected to have its new plant open this fall.

The company will retrofit truck chassis built by Mercedes in Ladson. It will also provide modular interiors for vans for Federal Express, Ryder and other customers.
