Ravenel club shooting leaves one woman dead

RAVENEL, S.C. (WCIV) -- Early Saturday morning at approximately 4:05, Charleston County Sheriff's Deputies arrived at Club Frazier's in Ravenel in regards to a fatal shooting.

Officials say club security guards heard gunshots in the parking lot and saw a male running from a vehicle.  A K-9 track was conducted through the woods behind the business near Moberry Road.

The Coroner's Office reports that 25-year-old Dominique Grant of West Ashley was found with fatal injuries. Grant died at the scene from a gunshot wound. The Coroner says an autopsy is scheduled for the victim Saturday afternoon. 

A motive for the shooting is not known at this time.
