Police issue warrant for man in Morris Street armed robbery

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Charleston Police have issued a warrant for a North Charleston man believed to be involved in an armed robbery on Morris Street August 12.

CPD officials say 21-year-old Malcolm Jerome Washington is wanted for armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. 

A CPD police report states the robbery occurred around 1:20 a.m. when the victim was robbed of his iPhone and wallet by a man armed with a gun.

Police were looking for three suspects after the incident that you can see here.
