NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Charleston Animal Society is packed yet again and to help find homes for all of their rescued animals, they're offering fee-free adoptions.

Not only do you get a four-legged friend for free, but spay/neutering, food and microchips are included.

"There are almost 500 animals who need homes," said Kay Hyman with the CAS. "The animals are pouring in with nowhere to go."

Pet-a-Palooza runs from Wednesday August 22 through Sunday August 26.

The Animal Society is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday.

You may just find a fur-ever friend waiting for you at 2455 Remount Road in North Charleston.
