BCSO responds to burglary at Money Man Pawn, suspect in custody

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- Berkeley County Sheriff's deputies responded to the Money Man Pawn on Highway 17 off Interstate 26 Friday morning for a burglary.

Calls came in to the newsroom saying there was a large police presence and that a man had tried to steal several firearms.

BCSO spokesperson Dan Moon could only confirm that they responded to a burglary and that details would be released later today.

Our crew on the scene says there are K9 units being used in the investigation. A deputy on the scene also confirmed that a suspect is in custody.
