ALVIN, S.C. (WCIV) - Berkeley County Sheriff's Office officials say a female body was found on Greenwood Drive in Alvin and the Coroner is "pretty confident" it is the body of June Guerry.

Berkeley County Sheriff's Officials have been searching for Guerry, the second woman missing since Sunday night. The first, Dana Woods, was found Tuesday night in the Francis Marion Forest according to officials.

Coroner Bill Salisbury said a man noticed a suspicious article of clothing in a bar pit near Greenwood and Walleye roads in Alvin. The man discovered the body and called police. Officials say the article of clothing is said to be what Guerry was last seen wearing. The parents of June Guerry have been notified and an autopsy will be conducted at MUSC Thursday, according to the BCSO.

Dan Moon with the BCSO moved the crime scene to the Alvin area around Greenwood Drive shortly after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The town of Alvin is approximately 10 miles from the site where Dana Woods' was found Tuesday.
