MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- Mount Pleasant police have arrested a man they say may have raped a 14-year-old girl at the Park West pool.
According to a police report, 19 year-old Kevin Guevara Alarcon is charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the second degree after one of the juveniles told police that he had sexual intercourse with her at the pool.
Police say two juveniles snuck out Sunday night to go to the Park West Amenity Center and met several men when they got there. The victim told police that the men had been at both pools in the community "drinking beer, smoking and swimming."
The 14-year-old victim also told police that she "complied with the defendant's sexual advances out of fear of being physically assaulted."
According to court records, Alarcon was given a $50,000 surety bond Tuesday.
