A great way to spend the day: by caring

Posted: Updated:

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Trident United Way's annual Day of Caring is Friday, September 7. More than 8,000 people will volunteer at 400 projects throughout the tri-country area.

It is believed to be the largest Day of Caring, per capita, in the nation. The Trident United Way hopes that the Day of Caring is just not one day, but a kick-off to 365 days of caring.

For anyone who would like to volunteer, you may show up at Park Circle, any time during the day, to help with cleaning and landscaping.
