Wanted: Terrance Shawan Johnson (provided)
ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCIV) -- Orangeburg County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man accused of shooting two people in what they say was an act of revenge.
According to Sheriff Leroy Ravenell, 28-year-old Rodney Jermaine Glover was arrested for shooting a 33-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman while looking for "the person he believed was responsible for a shooting on Monday night on Maedrine St. where two men were shot."
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. at a home on Banashee Circle.
Ravenell says Glover went to the home to find "the individual driving a blue vehicle from Monday's shooting which investigators believe was the result of "one individual purchasing bad crack cocaine and returning to the residence to rob the dealer." That shooting happened on Maedrine Street.
"Glover presented a weapon as he approached two women on the outside of a residence inquiring about the driver of a similar vehicle in the yard," said Ravenell. "Glover fired at the women striking one. He also fired into a home striking the male victim multiple times."
Terrance Shawan Johnson is still wanted in the Monday night shooting on Maedrine Street.
"When criminals seek revenge in illegal acts, innocent people are always injured in the process," Ravenell said. "Let me be clear, we will conduct our investigations using all available resources, we will hunt you down. To Johnson or anyone else that might be hiding him, it is in your best interest to turn yourself in."
Anyone with information concerning the location of Johnson is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
