Beaufort county swimming advisory lifted

HARBOR ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) -- State Health and Environmental Control officials have lifted a swimming advisory for a small section of beach on Harbor Island.

The affected area included 200 feet above and below the beach access at Pelican Point.

High bacteria levels were detected but they have now returned to normal.
