Bogard Street closures in effect - WCIV-TV | ABC News 4 - Charleston News, Sports, Weather

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Utility work has closed Bogard Street in downtown Charleston between the Crosstown and President Street.

The closure started Wednesday, September 26 at 7 a.m. according to city officials.

The closure should end by Friday, October 5 at 5 p.m.

Officials say the sections will be blocked 24 hours due to the extensive nature of the work.

Detour routes will be marked.  Motorists are asked to use caution and be patient as they travel through the detour routes.
