GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCIV) -- A wreck that happened along a rural Georgetown County road Monday has turned deadly.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver of a 1988 GMC was taken to MUSC following the crash on Johnson Road.
The driver, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead Tuesday.
Officials say he drove off Johnson Road, hit a utility poll and overturned. An investigation is underway.
