Search warrant on Gunn Avenue nets guns, drugs

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Two men were arrested Thursday after police found guns and drugs inside a shed on Gunn Drive, investigators said.

An incident report from the Charleston Police Department states officers were called to 1218 Gunn Ave. just before 1:30 p.m. Thursday. There, they served a search warrant and found three guns as well as marijuana packaged for sale and other drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested Stanley Edwards Jr., 21, and Brian Beck, 30, on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute in close proximity of a school.

The Gunn Avenue home is near The Daycare School, 1219 Hobert Ave., police said.
