GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCIV)—A central Florida man is headed to the Georgetown County Detention Center after investigators say he preyed on dozed of children online, asking them for sexual favors.

Justin Slavinski, 32, is charged locally with one count of criminal solicitation of a minor and three counts of dissemination of obscene material. Georgetown County Sheriff Lane Cribb says at least one of the victims is in Georgetown County.

Florida investigators also say they've identified at least four minors Slavinski may have had sexual contact with.

"As of today, the sheriff's office has arrested seven online child predators in seven months," stated Cribb.

Cribb says Slavinski is their latest bust since his department started the Computer Crimes Division in February.

"It's sick people, I mean. And we're going to do everything we can to bring them to the law," stated Cribb.

Investigators say Slavinski had been in contact with as many as 40 young females and sent 27,000 instant messages throughout Florida and other states over the Internet. His goal?

"To make contact and solicit them for sex," says Susie Murphy, a spokesperson for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. "We're in the process of interviewing and hoping to find more victims."

Murphy says that when investigators searched Slavinski's computer, they discovered child pornography and she says it appears he's been reaching out to children for quite some time.

"It's been years. It's been at least four or five years," says Murphy. "He had been a programmer for a hospice in Lake County--which is the next county over."

Cribb says the State Attorney General's Office is handling the case against Slavinski in South Carolina but he will likely face more charges in his home state--especially since investigators believe he had sexual contact with a few minors there.

"They're (the minors) all over central Florida, Orlando, Tampa," said Murphy.

Florida investigators say Slavinski is married and has no prior charges. He is expected to go through bond court on Saturday.
