police on scene at Garrett High (WCIV/Scott Garrand)
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - The high school football game at Garrett high school between Garrett and North Charleston has been postponed after an off-the-field altercation.
North Charleston head coach RaShan Frost says he was told no shots were fired in the altercation, but a gun was found.
The referees decided it was safest to stop the game at that point in the second half. North Charleston leads 14-6 after three quarters.
The game will be completed Monday night at 6 p.m. at Garrett. Frost says to his knowledge, no one was hurt.
