PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) -- The bomb squad was called to a Georgetown County recycling center Monday after a report of a suspected explosive device.
Sheriff's deputies were called around 9:30 a.m. to the Pawleys Island Recycling center on Grate Ave.
There, investigators found the item in a dumpster, according to a news release from the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office.
"After an investigation, the item in question was found to be inert," the news release said.
