CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV)-- October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and folks across the Lowcountry are showing their support by sporting bright pink hair extensions.

Roper St. Francis is offering the pink extensions for $7, with all proceeds benefiting the Roper St. Francis Hospital's Cancer Care programs.

You can get your fashionable extension at The Healing Boutique on the Bon Secours campus of Roper St. Francis. Licensed cosmetologists will even position the extension in your hair for you.

Jeanette Kiminsky, a licensed cosmetologist, says she enjoys helping a greater cause.

"Cancer is very expensive and they can really use the money to help with their treatments," Jeanette explained.  "We can do whatever we can."

Our own ABC News 4 Photojournalist Brandon Geier even took part in the fun, with his own pink extension!
