CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police are investigating after a car crashed into a dollar store Wednesday in West Ashley.

A gold Ford station wagon crashed into the Family Dollar store at 1720 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. around 5 p.m. Wednesday.

By 6:15 p.m., Charleston police had cleared the scene. A spokesman for the Charleston Police Department said no one was taken to the hospital.
