CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Another benefit is planned for the son of a former Mount Pleasant councilman who was critically injured in a car wreck in August.

Nick Collins' legs were run over by a semi after he was thrown from a car in a wreck on Interstate 526.

The Chucktown After 5 concert series on Friday will benefit Collins and raise money to help pay for his medical costs.

Collins' band, Fowler's Mustache, and Stop Light Observation will play at the event that runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Pot Kettle Black food truck will also sell food and a silent auction will be held to raise additional money for the family.
