CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston Police have charged a 28-year-old woman after they say they caught her with a stolen bike and credit card.
Melissa Ann Knors is charged with
property crime enhancement and financial transaction card theft.
Police say on September 10 around 2 p.m., officers
responded to a Fairway Drive
residence after the homeowner saw a woman enter her open garage
and take a bicycle.
Two days later, police were called to a Jamestown Road
residence about a car break-in. They say someone had entered the victim's car and
removed $200 and a credit card from a wallet.
On the afternoon of October 2, officers executed a
search warrant at Knor's Theresa
Drive apartment and found the bicycle that was
taken from the Fairway Drive
garage. They also had evidence that
Knor had used the stolen credit card at a convenience store.
