Blue notebook reveals new info in James Island HS bomb threat

Posted: Updated:

JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) - Two teens charged for the bomb threat at James Island High School had a blue notebook with a plan and intended targets, according to police reports.

Police say a blue notebook was confiscated that included items such as bombs, poison, a list of student groups they did not like, and a "plan" to execute.

The two 14-year-old students were charged with conspiracy to commit a felony on Tuesday.

Police say both students blamed each other for the threats and the notebook.  After searching the school and the homes of the teens, no items were found to carry out the acts, according to police.

Police say they confiscated the teens' computers.

The threat was reported to James Island Charter administrators Friday night, but they did not receive the information until Monday.
