
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) --It turns out the Rite Aid was the wrong place to be around 9 p.m. Monday.
Police say a man with a gun walked into the pharmacy on Ashley River Road in West Ashley. Police say he demanded narcotics, placed the drugs in a white trash bag and took off.
Officials with the Charleston Police Department have not yet released a description of the suspect.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
Police said the suspect is a black male wearing a red and gray hooded sweatshirt. He also was wearing black pants with a white stripe, according to an incident report from the Charleston Police Department.
