MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- Investigators are looking for a woman they say stole or tried to steal thermometers, fake plants and a credit card in three separate thefts earlier this year.

Ruth Love, 26, is accused of stealing a wallet at Wild Wings Cafe, 644 Coleman Blvd., Feb. 10. In early April, police said, she and "an accomplice" walked out of the Michaels store on North U.S. 17 with a shopping cart full of fake plants and planters.

Love tried to steal thermometers from Lowes July 18 and bit a store employee who tried to stop her, investigators said.

She is described as a black woman, approximately 5-feet 3-inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. She weighs about 175 pounds, police said.

Love's last known address is in Summerville, according to a news release from the Mount Pleasant Police Department.

Anyone with information about the case can call the police department at 884-4176.
