MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) -- A school safety drill is planned for Thursday on the Howe Hall AIMS school campus in Berkeley County.

School officials said the drill will be a simulation of an "active shooter" on the campus.

Part of the drill will involve calling emergency vehicles to the school.

The drill will begin at 8 a.m.

A spokeswoman for the school district said parents of students have been notified of the drill.
