NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police are investigating a bomb threat at a department store in North Charleston.

The Super KMart, 8750 Rivers Ave., was evacuated, according to a spokesman for the North Charleston Police Department.

Also, the following roads around the building were shut down:

 - Antler

 - Ontranto Road

The KMart parking lot was also closed, said Spencer Pryor of the police department.

A reporter on the scene says officials' attention appears to be focused on the parking lot of the department store. A police robot could be seen.

Police cleared the scene at the store around 6 p.m. Officials said a package was "stuffed with clothing."

We will post any new information here.
