Drug investigation nets 3 arrests, officials seeking 1 suspect

MOUNT PLEASANT S.C. (WCIV) -- Authorities arrested three men as part of a monthslong drug investigation and are looking for a suspect still on the loose.

The Charleston County Sheriff's Office announced the arrests of Christopher D. Wilkes, 22, Ivan F. Green, 25, and James C. Manigault, 25, in a news release Thursday.

Investigators said the drug investigation spanned six months and focused on the "Ten Mile," Whitehall Terrace and Copahee neighborhoods of Mount Pleasant. Local officials worked with federal officials on the investigations.

Authorities are looking for Terry Clarida, 26, of Awendaw. He is wanted on warrants charging him with distribution of cocaine base and distribution of heroin.

The other men all are facing several drug charges.
