MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- A judge in St. Maarten has extended the pre-trial detention term of a teen being held in the slayings of a Mount Pleasant couple.

The teen - identified only by his initials as JCM - is one of three suspects in custody in connection with the murders of Michael and Thelma King.

Another man, Meyshane Johnson, reportedly has admitted a role in the killings of the couple in their beachside condo in the Caribbean nation of St. Maarten in September.

In court Thursday, a judge ordered JCM held for another eight days in custody.

Neither suspect has been formally charged in the deaths of the Kings.
