SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- October 11th, 2012 - a day that one local family will never forget.
Noah Daniel, their first child, was born on 10-11-12 at Summerville Medical Center. His parents say that the date didn't really cross their minds until recently.
"We were getting close and we were kind of started thinking about it like hmm maybe it will come," said Sylvia Russ, Noah's mom. "We were hoping for 8:09 but he came a little early."
Instead, he arrived at 6:47pm. Of course, mom and dad were ready to meet their little bundle of joy that was 20 inches long and weighed 6 pounds and 2 ounces.
"Very exciting…just couldn't wait to see him," said Alxandre Frederick, Noah's dad.
Afterwards, family and friends started talking about the significance of being born on 10-11-12.
"We all started talking about it that it will be real easy for him to remember .. when someone asks what his birthday is he should be able to remember that," said Frederick.
Noah may not be the only one in the family with a cool birthday - his aunt is due in a couple of months.
"Her due date is 12-12-12, so maybe they might be lucky," said Russ.
Either way Noah is blessed with a cool birthday and a very loving family.
Sylvia and Alxandre have been together since high school, and it was during a class project that they came up with the name Noah Daniel and obviously they liked it so much they kept it.
There were 15 babies born on 10-11-12, eight at Summerville Medical Center and seven at Trident Medical Center.
