NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - A man walked into a Charleston gem store and ran right out with a diamond ring, according to deputies.

A police report states Gary Duane McKee entered a gem shop on Sam Rittenburg and asked to look at several diamond rings.

The clerk showed McKee a ring described as a 1.5 carat engagement ring with a .60 carat princess center cut diamond, according to deputies.

McKee reportedly took the ring and ran out the door.  Officials say he was seen leaving in a white Pontiac Sunfire driven by woman.

Charleston County Sheriff's Office deputies located the car in Summerville and arrested the person to which the car was registered.

Deputies say McKee was not found nor was the ring.

Charleston County Sheriff's Office deputies say McKee is wanted for grand larceny.  He is described by deputies as having tattoos "Bonnie" on his outer right arm and "Clyde" on his left outer arm.
