Police still on the hunt for Rite Aid robber, reward offered

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Rite Aid is offering a $2,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for an armed robbery that occurred Oct 9.

Police say a man with a gun walked into the pharmacy on Ashley River Road in West Ashley,  demanded narcotics, placed the drugs in a white trash bag and took off.

According to an incident report from the Charleston Police Department, the suspect is a black male wearing a red and gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants with a white stripe.

If you have any information in the case, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111 or Charleston Police at 577-7434. You don't have to leave your name and could earn a cash reward.
