CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- After a seizure postponed his trial for rape, Marion Brown returned to court Thursday morning and entered the plea he had tried to enter before: guilty.

Marion Lamont Brown Jr. is accused of carjacking, kidnapping and raping a woman in May 2011. He pleaded guilty to all three charges.

Brown remained seated during the entire hearing with three nurses from the jail seated behind him.

While the pleas had been entered and all but accepted before Brown's seizure stopped the Oct 4 hearing, Solicitor Scarlett Wilson wanted to resume the trial at a later date so her client could have the opportunity to speak.

The victim gave her statement Thursday morning, saying she will never be okay and is always on guard.

Investigators say Brown forced the woman parked at the West Ashley Medical Center to drive to Sunnyvale Road where he raped her at a vacant home.

The judge accepted Browns guilty pleas and sentenced him to 30 years behind bars.
