Deputies: Argument led to stabbing in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCIV) -- A man was arrested Thursday morning after he allegedly stabbed a man in the Green Acres neighborhood of Georgetown.

According to Georgetown County sheriff's deputies, Reginald Funnye, 30, confronted a man on Haven Drive just before 11:30 a.m. A "verbal altercation" occurred, deputies said, and Funnye stabbed the man once in the abdomen.

He was arrested a short time later on Hodge Drive.

Funnye is charged with first-degree murder and first-degree burglary.
