North Charleston Police have arrested two people in connection with the double shooting that happened Sunday afternoon on Rebecca Street in North Charleston.More >>
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -According to NCPD spokesperson, Spencer Pryor, shortly before 3 p.m. officers responded to 2253 Rebecca Street where two male victims were found suffering from gun shot wounds.
Both victims were transported to MUSC. According to the Charleston County Coroner's Office, Anthony Watley III, 23, was pronounced dead from his injuries at MUSC. An autopsy is scheduled on Monday.
Pryor says the second victim remains in critical condition.
He also says investigators have only been able to determine that an altercation occurred between the victims and suspect which resulted in the shooting.
The incident remains under investigation and there is no information at this time on suspect(s).
